Our Congo Rainforest beans hail from the region’s abundant rainfall and rich volcanic soil. Grown on the outskirts of the Virunga National Park, which is home to some of the world’s endangered mountain gorillas, right in South Kivu, D.R. Congo. At 1693 meters above sea level, they soak up the sun and the altitude, resulting in a seriously good cup. Producers cultivate both natural and honey coffees on shaded, raised beds. This Congolese, organic, single-origin coffee presents a remarkably complex and satisfying flavor profile, making it a true gem for those who appreciate the distinctive characteristics of fruity, dry-processed African coffees.
